What's actually under the word burnout?
Burnout has become the dominant frame professional exhaustion. But the standard clinical framework (a mismatch between person and workplace) does not reach what walks into my consulting room wearing the label. What I see, more often, is an internal mismatch. Between who someone hoped to be and where they have found themselves.
